I hadn't planned to watch this morning's memorial service for Steve Irwin but I'm sooo glad I did. Cried like a baby!
What an incredible man - surely we can all take just a little piece of him into ourselves and learn to really LIVE life. Wow - to have that gusto and love to life - something it is way to easy to take for granted. I think his adored daughter, Bindi, will also be a very special person.

Very sad, I cried listening to what his little girl had to say. I heard it on the radio while at work.

Now I will never listen to 'True Blue' again without a few tears.
I have always been a big Steve Irwin fan so I will miss him terribly. We watched the service at work and I cried when Bindi said her bit. It makes you remember that he wasn't just the crocodile hunter but a father too.
